MILLAMAN ESTATE RESERVE CARMENERE
Millaman Estate Reserve Carmenère
Alexis Castro, Oenologist, has been part of our team of Viña Millaman, strong responsibility and a connection to the history of our terroir in our vineyards in Sagrada Familia. He has been concerned with maintaining the best strains in Chile, as well as efficiency in the winemaking process, to achieve a world-class bottle. Millaman Estate Reserve Carmenère from Chile is one of his best creations, worthy of all the awards he has received.
Tasting notes
Aromatic, complex with sweet spice tones are emphasized and then opened to aromas of ripe red fruits, along with soft notes of white pepper, tobacco and cacao. Soft and ripe tannins. It is a tasty wine of balanced acidity, round with a long aftertaste.
Wine & Food Match
Works very well when accompanied by dishes made on the bbq, especially lean meats such as sirloin steaks, or some cuts of pork and lamb, even better if you use herbaceous sauces like a Chimichurri.

VIÑA MILLAMAN (Hacienda El Condor Sa)
The Legend of the Golden Condor
The name Millaman comes from the Mapuche language and means “Golden Condor“. José Canepa, an italian immigrant, bought Hacienda El Condor in Curicó Valley in 1946. In 1998, he expanded it in order to perpetuate the winemaking tradition with his 3 daughters. This led to the creation of Viña Millaman. The wine cellar, with walls of adobe of more than 100 years, was carefully restored preserving the Chilean colonial style.
