Cherry red. Generous aromas of succulent dark berries and juicy red fruit with a subtle hint of oak. Cinnamon spice and ample lively blue and red berry fruit compote in a tasty, succulent package. Poised and energetic with good frame and balance.

REGION: Darling, Stellenbosch and Paarl – Western Cape
AGEING: Fermented in contact with French and American oak for 12 months, 3 months of bottle ageing
GUARDING POTENTIAL: 5 years ±
SERVE: Serve at 16ºC – 18ºC
FITS TO: A treat with rich winter stews, roast duck, guinea fowl, quail, ostrich, game casserole, classic goulash, venison steak, smoked Kassler chops, pasta, pizza, roast leg of lamb, bobotie and even chocolate
