Our Wines | Range | Winzergenossenschaft Ihringen
On our fertile soils magnificent wines thrive thanks to the innumerable hours of sunshine on the Winklerberg and Fohrenberg: light, fruity wines, but also rich, full-bodied Burgundies and sweet specialities find the best of conditions here. And the fact that our cellar masters understand their craft is verified by numerous awards at national and international wine tastings.
Year after year, the Burgundy varieties in particular provide us with wines of the highest quality. The Mediterranean climate of Ihringen allows the Silvaner vine to become a very special wine. This fruit-accented and extremely versatile white wine has made the name of the wine-growing village well-known far beyond the national border.
In addition to Silvaner and regional classics – such as Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir), Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris), and Weißburgunder (Pinot Blanc) – Müller-Thurgau, Gewürztraminer, Muscatel and Scheurebe have a convincing and full-bodied flavour profile. You really should try our Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc too.
