Dark Crimson. Lifted perfume, with spicy fresh berry fruit aromas. Integrated elegant oak intermingled with mulberry, plum fruit characters. Depth, richness and structure all come to the fore with elegant, long finish.

AGEING: Aged in combination for French and American oak. Wine blended and aged for 3 months prior to bottling, 25% New French Oak – AP John, Boutes and Seguin Moreau
GUARDING POTENTIAL: Enjoy now or will cellar well up to 15 years ±
SERVE: Serve at 16ºC – 18ºC
FITS TO: Pairs well with Osso Buco, Carnitas Tacos, or aged cheeses including Asiago Stravecchio, Parmigiano Reggiano

This range represents a combination of selected vineyards that show exceptional quality during the barrel selection process. They typically have new French oak components in the Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz whilst while the Grenache and Mataro are in older oak.

Our barrel select wines show the art of blending vineyards of the same grape varieties adding layers of texture, complexity and flavour from the small tapestry of vineyards in the Barossa.
