ROBERT MONDAVI NAPA VALLEY PINOT NOIR
Robert Mondavi
Napa Valley Pinot Noir
The Pinot Noir is fruit forward with a juicy element, nice structure and fine tannins, making it a wonderfully expressive wine. Tasting Notes: Hints of Strawberry and Violet, Touch of Black and White Pepper with aroma of Dark Cherry and Red Plum.
VARIETIES: 100% Pinot Noir
REGION: United States / California / North Coast / Napa County / Napa Valley
AGEING: After a maceration lasting about 20 days, the wine is left to ferment in oak barrels. In the same containers, it is then left to evolve for about 5 months, in order to amplify its organoleptic characteristics, in harmony with the American wine culture. This is followed by bottling and aging in glass
GUARDING POTENTIAL: Enjoy now or will cellar well up to 10 years
SERVE: Serve at 14° – 16°C
PAIRING: Ideal with Pork tacos with Slaw and Chicken Marsala
VIVINO: Average 3.8 ★★★★✰

Napa Valley Pinot Noir | Range | Robert Mondavi Winery
Carneros, with its foggy, wind-swept hills, proves an ideal home for the notoriously challenging and delicate varietal, Pinot Noir. The cool nights, foggy mornings, and afternoon breezes that blow in from San Pablo Bay allow for the slow, even ripening needed for the development of key flavors and aromas.
Robert Mondavi established his namesake winery in 1966 with a vision for creating a collection of wines from Napa Valley that could compete with the world’s finest. Through tireless innovation, an uncompromising eye for quality, and boundless enthusiasm, he made believers out of wine lovers everywhere. His wines, and the winemaking team that continues to be inspired by him, strive for ever-finer quality, vintage after vintage. In the over 50 years since its founding, the winery has earned more than 350 90+ scores from the world’s most respected wine critics.
