Big, powerful structure, rich with ripe fruit. Soft and spicy. Sweet and ripe tannins. Long ageing potential. Very few bottles produced every year. Dark ruby, yet all transparent. Very elegant, feminine, seductive nose. Ground almonds, leather, sweet raspberry and red currant reduction, toffee and oriental spice. Sweet intensity on the creamy, rich, powerful palate, with enough freshness to balance. Really long aftertaste where plenty of tannins take over.

REGION: Northern Italy / Piemonte / Barbaresco
AGEING: In large French oak “botti” for about 30 months; for a small amount in barriques as well
GUARDING POTENTIAL: Enjoy now or will cellar well up to 15 years
