Champagne Rosé Impérial | Range | LVMH
Moët Impérial is the House’s iconic champagne. Created in 1869, it embodies Moët & Chandon’s unique style, a style distinguished by its bright fruitiness, its seductive palate and its elegant maturity.
In the heart of champagne country with the most extensive estates in the region, our lush green vineyards are where our story begins, the birthplace of the world’s most loved champagne.
Perhaps it’s no surprise that the wine which best expresses the quintessential qualities of champagne is made from grapes grown on the most extensive estate in the region. Of our 1,150 hectares (2,840 acres) of rich chalk soil, 50% are grands crus and 25% are premiers crus.
The assemblage reflects the diversity and complementarity of the three grapes varietals:
THE INTENSITY OF PINOT NOIR: 40 to 50%
THE ROUNDNESS OF PINOT MEUNIER: 30 to 40%
THE ELEGANCE OF CHARDONNAY: 10 to 20%
20 to 30% of which from specially selected reserve wines to enhance its intensity, subtlety and constancy.
