The vineyard is planted on soils of alluvial origin, with good water infiltration and optimal conditions for the development of the vines.The soil is alluvial with different textures, created by the river, which leaves rocks, sand, gravel and basically clay. Aging Aged in French oak for 12 to14 months.

Tasting notes
Intense red with violet tones. Aromas are intense and elegant. Sweet and spiced feeling with fresh blackberries and rippen plums. On the palate juicy and fruit forward. Tasty and soft tannins, rich acidity, great density, seductive and long finish.

This wine has a great versatility. Perfect partner to cuts of red meat accompanied by blue cheese or mushroom sauces, red meat preparations, parmigiana, ripe cheeses.

The Legend of the Golden Condor

The name Millaman comes from the Mapuche language and means “Golden Condor“. José Canepa, an italian immigrant, bought Hacienda El Condor in Curicó Valley in 1946. In 1998, he expanded it in order to perpetuate the winemaking tradition with his 3 daughters. This led to the creation of Viña Millaman. The wine cellar, with walls of adobe of more than 100 years, was carefully restored preserving the Chilean colonial style.
