Katnook Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Medium crimson in appearance with an expessive bouquet which displays notes of briar, forest floor and mediterranean herbs. ther is a bright fruit core of bright black fruits. The palate is full, supple and shows off beautiful flavours of plum, cassis and briar which gives an umami nuance. The wine’s tannis are supple and help the long finish.
VARIETIES: Cabernet Sauvignon
REGION: Coonawarra, South Australia
AGEING: Selected parcels were aged for 13 months in new and seasoned Hogshead and barrique
GUARDING POTENTIAL: Will age gracefully up to 15 years
SERVE: Serve at 16ºC – 18ºC
PAIRING: Go well with French cut lamb cutlets or for a vegan alternative, try a rich tomato base pasta
