A densely flavoured wine exhibiting layers of flavour and complexity. Intense dark chocolate, ripe blueberry and plum mixed in with liquorice, peat and roasted coffee beans. The palate rounds out with fine silky tannins, majestic balance and remarkable persistence of flavour.

The 2018 Eileen Hardy Shiraz combines the outstanding fruit from the 1892 planted vines of Upper Tintara with the dark, dense and concentrated fruit from the 53 year old vines of the Elliot McLaren Flat vineyard to produce a wine of great power & depth of flavour with remarkable balance & persistence.
