Aromas of blackberries, blueberries, and plums, smoky, toasted wood nuances, with spices and hints of minerals and tobacco. Smooth with soft and velvety tannins, great palate weight, extraordinary balance acidity. Elegant and complex aftertaste, with hints of coffee, chocolate, tobacco and dark fruit.

VARIETIES: 85% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano, 5% Mazuela
REGION: Rioja, Spain
AGEING: 2 years in French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels, 3 years in the bottle
GUARDING POTENTIAL: Enjoy now or will cellar well up to 8 years
SERVE: Serve at 16ºC – 18ºC
FITS TO: Delicious with red meat, grills and roasts, game, mature and blue cheeses. Great with lamb stew with chestnuts sauce or vegetable pisto
