Anakena Alwa refers to the meaning “sunrise” in indigenous Aymara language. It represents the soul and creative force of existence, a passion channelled in crafting this extraordinary wine.

Complex red fruit notes with aromas of red peppers, and French vanilla. On the palate is has a medium body with great character and a fine tannin structure, which leads the way for a long finish.

Anakena wines are made to drink and enjoy every day, so overripe styles and high alcohols are avoided. Oak is used sparingly, and additions and interventions, both in the vineyard and winery are kept to an absolute minimum. Wherever possible, wines are 100% apt for both vegans and vegetarians.
