Château Bourron | of | Vignobles Sulzer

It was in 1842 that Pierre FAUCHEY-BALGUERIE, a merchant and amateur in Bordeaux, decided to establish the Bourron estate. Dominating the Dordogne and the historic site of the Battle of Castillon, the current castle and its belvedere were then built. The park planted with exotic species and the architectural details of the building bear witness to its founder’s taste for travel.

It was in 2012, after 80 years in the same family, that Diane and Olivier SULZER took over the destiny of this vineyard and relaunched the production of Bourron wines after years of neglect: Château Bourron and Belvédère de Château Bourron.
