SUPERSTITION LAGRIMAS DE ORO MEAD
13.5% ABV | Barrel Aged Semi-sweet Mead

Lagrimas de Oro is an off-dry traditional made with Arizona Mesquite Honey aged in Bourbon Barrels. It won our first medal at The Mazer Cup in 2013 (a silver) and took gold in 2018. We love these “Tears of Gold.”

FOOD PAIRINGS

Pair this unique drink with dark Belgian chocolate or enjoy as a nightcap… lovely with salty snacks such as olives, roasted nuts, or artisan crisps. For seafood and fish, try a mead and fennel sauce or poach scallops or pour a dash in a fresh shucked oyster. For desserts, we like it with raspberry and white chocolate sponge, poached fruit such as plums or nectarines or sharp goats cheese.
