12 year old single malt from the Benrinnes distillery, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular Elemental Dragon collection. Distilled in 2011 and charged from a refill butt, this is one of 412 bottles that embodies the auspicious Zodiac of the Chinese Lunar Year.

Tasting Note
The nose immediately reveals prominent sherry notes with a fruity and inviting aroma. Despite its soaring ABV, the palate starts sweet and light, then transitions to a spicy fruitiness typical of sherry-matured whiskies. It culminates in a rich, full-bodied fruitiness. It finishes long and rich, with baking spices and a lingering sweetness.
