NUGAN ESTATE ANNELISE PINOT GRIGIO

Nugan Estate is the Nugan family’s winery dedicated to producing premium estate grown wines from the family’s vineyards across Australia. Nugan Estate has been recognised as one of Australia’s best Winemakers having been awarded 44 trophies, and over 1,500 medals, which includes 207 gold medals.

The Annelise Pinot Grigio is part of the Alfredo range, which we make as a tribute to the founders of Nugan Estate, Alfredo and Annelise Nugan. The pair made the decision to emigrate from Spain in 1940, during the Spanish Civil War. They had a very clear vision of what their family’s new life in Australia would look like. Today, as a result of their legacy, the Nugan family is one of Australia’s most successful agricultural enterprises.

Annelise Pinot Grigio
After picking, the grapes were gently pressed and underwent slow, cool fermentation to preserve the delicate fruit flavours. Once dry, the wine was allowed to mature prior to final blending and bottling.

Winemakers Comments
This wine is light straw with a youthful green hue. It has enticing fresh aromas of pear and apple with citrus and tropical notes. In addition to these flavours, the wine is also crisp and vibrant palate of pear, apple and grapefuit with mineral accents and a crisp, clean finish.
