The vineyard is planted on soils of alluvial origin, with good water infiltration and optimal conditions for the development of the vines. Aging Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.

Tasting notes
Clean red ruby wine, with violet tints. Fruity and intense aromas that remind us of plum and cherry. Also some notes of marmalade’s. Juicy and balanced wine with soft and ripe tannins, a rich acidity and sweetness characteristic of variety. It is a long and harmonious wine ideal for high gastronomy.

This wine has a great versatility. Perfect partner to red meats, cheeses, duck, grilled chicken and turkey and meat based sandwiches.

The Legend of the Golden Condor

The name Millaman comes from the Mapuche language and means “Golden Condor“. José Canepa, an italian immigrant, bought Hacienda El Condor in Curicó Valley in 1946. In 1998, he expanded it in order to perpetuate the winemaking tradition with his 3 daughters. This led to the creation of Viña Millaman. The wine cellar, with walls of adobe of more than 100 years, was carefully restored preserving the Chilean colonial style.
