MILLAMAN ESTATE RESERVE MERLOT
Millaman Estate Reserve Merlot
Alexis Castro, Oenologist, has been part of our team of Viña Millaman, strong responsibility and a connection to the history of our terroir in our vineyards in Sagrada Familia. He has been concerned with maintaining the best strains in Chile, as well as efficiency in the winemaking process, to achieve a world-class bottle. Millaman Estate Reserve Merlot from Chile is one of his best creations, worthy of all the awards he has received.
Tasting notes
Intense red color with purple tints. A seductive wine, of rich intensity that reminds us of ripe red fruits like plum and cherry which then open to floral notes and small notes of spices. On the palate it is juicy with a balanced acidity and fine and sweet tannins.
“Rich in oaky notes, the fruity flavors are there in the background., and the texture is pleasing in this simple and juicy wine, ready to drink now.” – 86/100, Patricio Tapia – Descorchados
Wine & Food Match
The harmony of this wine allows a wide pairing with white and red meats and also pastas.

VIÑA MILLAMAN (Hacienda El Condor Sa)
The Legend of the Golden Condor
The name Millaman comes from the Mapuche language and means “Golden Condor“. José Canepa, an italian immigrant, bought Hacienda El Condor in Curicó Valley in 1946. In 1998, he expanded it in order to perpetuate the winemaking tradition with his 3 daughters. This led to the creation of Viña Millaman. The wine cellar, with walls of adobe of more than 100 years, was carefully restored preserving the Chilean colonial style.
