The JW Aged 15 Years Old Sherry Finish is a finely crafted selection of remarkable 15 Years Old Single Malts, expertly married and finished in ex Sherry oak casks that formerly held sherry, to create a beautiful Scotch whisky with a subtle sweetness and a great depth of flavour. This new expression is only available in selected locations: China, Taiwan, Malaysia and Philippines.
The taste of the JW Aged 15 Years Old Sherry Finish is unlike the usual JW as it’s on the sweeter side and have none of the usual signature smoky profile, making it an easy accompaniment to Asian cuisines. Exhibiting flavors of candied fruits, dried fruits and coco exclusive to sherry. On the nose, a slight floral aroma along with the fragrance of baked apples, honey and vanilla is present without the usual trace of smokiness. While it presents notes of candied fruits, chocolate and nuts exclusive to sherry on the palate, followed by an exquisite floral fragrance.
Classic flavor profile from the Clynelish Distillery located in the Highland region of Scotland. Aromas of Fruit Cake and dried fruits exclusive to the Glen Elgin Distillery – great depth of flavor finished off with honey and candied fruit endnotes that linger after every sip.
