500 years of hard work went into this beer, which is infused with the aroma of orange peel, coriander and spices, imported by the cheerful monks from sunny Curacao. Speaking of sunny: pouring Hoegaarden is like having the sun shining into your glass: pale yellow and naturally cloudy. And the soft foam adds a cloudy finish. And then there’s the smooth taste, light and a touch sweet and sour and with subtle citrus notes… oh well, just go ahead and taste it instead of reading about it!

That’s exactly what the jury of the European Beer Star Awards 2014 did. Our white won bronze in the category Witbier Belgian style… delicious!
