This 45-year-old single grain whisky, distilled, comes from Scotland’s Carsebridge grain distillery in October 1976, matured in a Refill Hogshead and bottled to just 192 bottles in March 2022 in Douglas Laing’s exclusive XOP range.

Nose: Intense aromas of green apples , plus polished wood, leather and coconut flakes
Flavour: Full notes of Honeycomb and melted butter with brioche buns, some ginger and milk chocolate in the background
Finish: Long finish with hints of sweet molasses, macaroons, sultanas and mocha
