A 45-year-old Caledonian 1976 single grain whisky bottled in 2021 without colouring or chill filtration by Douglas Laing for their Extra Old Particular (XOP) series.

This XOP Caledonian 1976 45-year-old was bottled from a single refill hogshead Cask DL15243 that yielded 295 bottles at a natural cask strength of 53% and promises to be a thick and creamy long-aged grain whisky with natural caramel, spices and fresh fruit salad flavours.

Tasting Note
Anticipate live, fresh fruit salad coupled with a damp, spiced oak character on the nose. The palate is deliciously thick with a real creamy texture, showing a moreish caramel cream quality and honeyed cereal. The long finish linger wonderfully with a citrus tang alongside zesty hard candy and syrup.
