Château Ramage La Batisse
Haut-Médoc 2018

Intense color, ranging from ruby to garnet. Black fruit notes with cassis and blackberry, followed by empyreumatic fragrances that vary between vanilla and roasting. The young reds are full-bodied, marked by a hint of oak and hints of sweet spices. After a few years of aging, the tannins melt.

“This structured wine is elegant in its balance between tannins and black fruits, making it a candidate for long-term aging. A smoky character from wood aging is integrating well with the structure. Drink this wine from 2024.” – 90/100, Wine Enthusiast

Haut-Médoc 2018 | Range | Château Ramage La Batisse

Château Ramage La Bâtisse was promoted to Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Supérieur status in the 2003 revision of the 1932 classification. The proximity of Pauillac can be detected on tasting.

Harvested manually and vinified using traditional methods, the wines from this property are very typical of the Médoc. They have a beautiful dark ruby colour and develop refined, rounded, supple aromas.

12 months in oak barrels. A powerful and refined nose with magnificent fruit, elegantly roasted and pretty spicy nuances. Solid and powerful in the mouth with a lengthy fresh finale. 2018 is a classic wine. Huge laying down potential. Serve decanted.
