The seventh batch of 40-year-old single malt from Balvenie is a skillful marriage of American oak casks and sherry butts, selected by Malt Master David Stewart MBE. A super-deluxe single malt from this iconic and still independent family-owned Speyside distillery.

Rich and refined; intense honeyed oak and rich fruit create a complex layer of sweetness and spice; then warm notes of  ginger and citrus are revealed.

NOSE: Honey and orange marmalade notes mingle with a creamy fruitiness
TASTE: Orange blossom, candied ginger and a honeyed sweetness, followed by oak, mouth-coating vanilla notes and a delicate, sherried fruitiness
FINISH: Warm and elegant with a honeyed, citrus richness
