Very nice garnet-red colour. Nose of red fruit and spices, smooth and supple attack on the palate with a tightly-knit structure. Fresh, elegant finish.

“The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers a nice finesse of grain, pulpiness, power and stretch. There are notes of crisp cherry, crushed strawberry and more slightly juicy/pulpy blueberry combined with fine touches of lily, blackcurrant and a discreet hint of star anise, a subtle hint of sweet spice and an imperceptible hint of almost white flowers. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, roundness, a certain fatness, a little spherical side, a certain unctuousness, accuracy and purity. On the palate this wine expresses crunchy cherry, crushed raspberry and slightly crushed blackberry notes with a touch of plump blue plum, lilac, racy minerality and fine hints of sweet blond tobacco, crushed almond and a subtle hint of toastiness. Lovely gravelly minerality on the palate. A lot of finesse in its gourmandise.” – 93/100, VertdeVin

Aurore de Dauzac | Range | Château Dauzac

Aurore de Dauzac is a single vineyard located on the far eastern side of the Dauzac estate, where the sun rises. In 1670, this plot had already been described as the “rising sun vines” (Au¬rore means dawn in French) and today it produces a fresh wine with intense fruitiness.
